Finally setup my T61 with win xp

After a day struggle, could get my Thinkpad up and running with win XP.
After the struggle, found out the following three easy steps, will make life easy while installing xp on T61
1. Get an ethernet driver from the lenovo support site and install it
2. Now install dotnetfw 2.0
3. Now get SystemUpdate applications from the lenovo support site. After installing this application, u can just run that. It will show u the list of drivers needed for t61. You can just select all the must drivers packages and click on Dowbload, That will take care of the rest of the things.

Feeling happy after a long time :)

I have written tetris game in java script. Starting from yesterday morning till today afternoon of course breaks and sleep in between. Not so interesting, but hoping this to be the first step towards a lot of games to come from my dev.

Some obvious features missing in so called great sw

Some times it is very surprising to know that some features does not exist in softwares/services provided by Google or some other big player(which is having an elephant's share in that particular area). I feel this indicates that there is a lot of scope for new startups. From this, what I strongly believe that, there is always scope for new startups. Even though there are lot of startups coming up. In fact entrepreneurs need not bother about the no.of startups being started. Its basically creating more scope for yet some other new startups. The simple example is youtube is there started for hosting videos as a startup some time back. Now there are some startups which are doing the search on the youtube videos, or taking youtube as an input and producing some useful output.

A part of Motorola mobile division may get acquired by Google

I think most of us aware of Motorola mobile division situation. Last two years the performance was pathetic. And they had to delay hikes and cut some jobs last year to compensate the losses. A week before they even explored the option of selling mobile division. Later, it seems CEO grabbed the control of the mobile division.
There seems to be a rumor from inside Motorola that Google may acquire a part of Motorola mobile division. This division developed a platform, which could be a strong back end for the Google's Android. May be this is because of the recent delays caused in the releases of Android and also there were lot of issues in the first release of the Android. Definitely it takes a lot of time for Android to get stabilized. So it could be a right move for Google to go ahead with the acquisition to stand at the top in mobile space.
